News from the Mt. Healthy Alliance

In November we provided help to 578 families - 1905 people.
In December we provided help to 558 families - 1816 people.

In 2009 we helped a total of 3,743 families - 11,894 people.

This could not have been done without God's help, numerous volunteers and the support of our many benefactors. We knew 2009 would be challenging but I don't think we projected that there would be so many people seeking our help. We praise God for guiding us. Miracles keep happening. Please thank your congregations and keep praying that God will continue to guide us to help His people...Kathy.

The pantry currently needs cereal, fruit, tuna (or other meat), spaghetti sauce, pancake mix and syrup. Clients also need shampoo, dish detergent and laundry detergent.  The Food Pantry is always collecting non-perishable food for those who need it in our community. Your donations of any items would be greatly appreciated.

The pantry also needs volunteers - especially for Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. If you can help, please call Kathy Lorenz at the pantry (551-8036).

Vegetable Seed Packets

Mission Project to Help Jackson Area Ministry Gardeners

We will again be collecting packages of vegetable seeds. Look for containers in the Sanctuary to hold the seed packets. They will be sent to the Jackson Area Ministry Gardening Project. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you again!

Paper Towel Sunday - 2nd Sunday of the month

Help us support the children of One Way Farm. Please bring one roll of any brand of paper towel and place it in the designated container in the narthex.
