Mount Healthy United Methodist Church
Mt. Healthy UMC for Women

Let’s Go Green!

In an effort to be responsible citizens of the world, the Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church is working toward protecting our environment. As a first step, the United Methodist Women have purchased biodegradable hot cups from Clovernook Home For The Blind. These cups are for the use of all groups in the church. They will be in the church kitchen and are attractive white cups with green trees on them.

Other ways we are working to improve our environment are recycling, being sensitive to the use of lights and weather stripping for our outer doors. We can all help in these endeavors. It is suggested that all paper products brought into the church be biodegradable. "Let's Go Green All the Way!"

The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ:  to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. The UMW meet on the first Thursday of each month, unless otherwise noted, in the Fellowship Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The proceeds from these projects help pay their mission pledge.
